Freud Communications
Project: To work with Freud and develop their SharePoint site.
Task: The objective of the site is to provide a location to host internal files, providing document management and to facilitate collaborative working amongst the teams and with external clients.
Summary: Qdos has redesigned the master pages and themes for the site in close colaboration with the IT team at Freud. Qdos has developed features and web parts to allow daily coverage of clients' products to be displayed on the home page through a ticker. This is run in conjunction with a coverage section which hosts all of the scanned images and metadata required for the clients.
Qdos has also extended SharePoint to create a client extranet. This allows Freud staff to liaise with clients, and privides a secure location for client collaboration. This uses forms-based authentication interlinked with an SQL database.
