Handheld surveying system

Project: Qdos has been tasked to create an application to assist staff onsite carrying out tree surveys. The application needed to reduce downtime and minimise paperwork and replication.
Task: The software needed to be developed in close conjunction with staff at Simon Jones Associates, to allow seamless integration of data from collation through to output.
Summary: Qdos has written the application using Visual Basic Dot Net. This is loaded onto the staff's handheld PDA's and taken out to site where the survey data is input. On return to the office the handhelds are synchronised with the master database, which produces tailored output for reports and to be used by dedicated CAD plotting software.
